Kevin Horst, Project Manager

Kevin is an accomplished construction management professional with more than 20 years of experience in the industry. Prior to joining KCM Group, Kevin worked for several well-known and respected general contracting firms, including Swinerton Builders and Reno Contracting. His understanding of the complex coordination and communication network required to manage construction projects has helped him successfully complete a variety of projects – both large and small – on time and on budget. Kevin’s experience in San Diego County includes Doma Lofts & Townhomes downtown (for which he earned a Partner in Paradise Award), Scripps Health Medical Office in Rancho Bernardo and Cabrillo Medical Center’s renovation & expansion in San Diego.

At KCM, Kevin is responsible for managing and coordinating the Plaza de Panama project. This proposed project to improve Balboa Park requires that Kevin manage a team of specialized subconsultants, coordinate with numerous public agencies, and oversee the design review, CEQA environmental review and entitlement process with the City of San Diego. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in construction management from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
